Welcome to Rogers, Arkansas!
"Where possible lives" is the slogan of this fast growing city in Northwest Arkansas. Rogers is steeped with history, named after a key figure in bringing the Frisco rail line through the area in the late 1880's. It is also well known for being the headquarters of Daisy Outdoor popular maker of air powered rifles, pistols and BB guns. Rogers is a hub for many Walmart vendor partner offices, healthcare, retail, yet still retains some manufacturing and processing industries that built the city. As with other cities in Northwest Arkansas, Rogers has experienced growth in the past 20 years, and it's downtown has seen revitalization, with new restaurants and the completion of the Railyard Park just off of downtown which is a newly developed park with areas for the farmer's market, live entertainment, and of course, a place for the kids to run and play! Again, Rogers has joined in the initiative of getting people outdoors and boast trails and bike paths which connect to the Razorback Greenway and the the Railyard Bike Park. Rogers also has one of the largest Aquatics Center in the area to cool off in the summer!
Rogers is also home to the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP) which draws performances and concerts from the biggest entertainers in the country.
Did you know that Rogers is actually home to the very first Walmart store Sam Walton opened? You can learn about history at the Rogers Historical Museum as you wander the downtown area. Rogers is rich with history, but also boasts some of the best shopping Northwest Arkansas has to offer at upscale Pinnacle Hills Promenade and the surrounding stores. You could spend hours alone at Bass Pro Shops!
