The East/West streets are named after confederate soldiers and the North/South streets are named after the union soldiers. Another unique event Pea Ridge hosts every year is the Pea Ridge Mule Jump, yes, you heard that correct!!! You can come watch mules jump barriers as high as 6 1/2 feet!
